The words

Every word has its source and a badge that says how sure it is. We are careful, but we can't guarantee every word is right: if you find a mistake, report it from the word's page.

Contributions

You can share words from your dialect, correct existing ones and answer «is it said like this?». Don't send insults, offensive content, other people's personal data or text copied from protected dictionaries. Shared words are published under CC BY-SA 4.0; signing is optional. If you are under 14, ask an adult to help you. To be a keeper you must be at least 18.

Moderation

Every shared word shows up right away among the «just arrived» words, marked «to be checked», after an automatic filter (no offensive words, links, emails or phone numbers); people vote on it and anyone can report it. It enters the dictionary only when a keeper from the town or the person who runs Nonnese confirms it. Every decision is written down, with who made it and why. If one of your words is not published, you see the reason in «Le tue proposte» on the Partecipa page.

Reports

Every word has «Segnala un problema» (report a problem): wrong, offensive, copyright, other. You get a number; if you leave your email we write you the decision. If content suggests a serious crime threatening someone's life or safety, we report it to the authorities.
